An introduction to Richard Green

I am 37 years old and work as a self employed courier in Northern Ireland, which I do by choice.  My past careers have been varied and colourful which I will leave at that but have always had the aspiration to be a published writer.  Throughout my life, I have always been lacking in confidence in my dealings with others, finding it almost excruciating when I have had to speak publicly or form relationships with others.  People who know me would describe me as an over-sensitive high strong individual who feels too much too often.  They would also tell you that I have a big heart and that it is because of this, people would often see me as an opportunity to use and abuse.  I am not a weak person by any means either physically or mentally but I can safely say that my heart rules me and not my head.  My fictional works are inspired by the people I have met throughout my life and also from the stories that I have been told by friends and colleagues with a little added twist of the non believable just to jazz things up a bit.  Although many of the scenarios and characters in my books are inspired by real life events and people, none of my works are directly drawn from any specific person or place but would instead be a collection of profiles used to form one entity.

The first book that I will be publishing for you, is called a Symphony of Sorrow as I'm sure you have already guessed.  The book outlines the development of love between two lost souls who are both missing something in their lives.  The female character Susan is a single mum who like many women, has not had a very easy time with her ex-husband.  Alex is an unhappy man in a very abusive marriage who craves true love.  The story outlines the obstacles in life which separate two people in love which destiny has deemed a perfect match.  Without giving everything away, I will let you read it for yourselves and hope that you enjoy.

Kind regards

Richard Green
